The Psychology Department at Kalamazoo College invites applications for a one-year visiting assistant professor of Psychology to begin in September 2024. A Ph.D. (or evidence of imminent completion) is required; the area of specialization is open. The successful candidate may demonstrate research expertise or teaching capabilities in: psychology of race/ethnicity/gender; cognition; personality; and/or school psychology. We especially seek applicants with teaching competency in Introduction to Psychology. The teaching load is six courses on a quarter system (2/2/2), with additional duties to include grading senior theses and participation in department events.
