Visiting Assistant Professor Computer Science

Kalamazoo College invites applications for a one-year visiting position in computer science at the assistant professor or instructor level beginning September 2024. A master’s or Ph.D. in computer science or a closely related field is required. Teaching responsibilities include courses at all levels of the undergraduate curriculum. Candidates are expected to have a high aptitude and interest in undergraduate teaching and a commitment to the liberal arts. The teaching load is equivalent to six courses per year on a quarter system (2/2/2). The Computer Science department values inclusive pedagogical approaches that focus on supporting women and underrepresented minorities.

Kalamazoo College is a nationally known liberal arts college of approximately 1450 motivated undergraduates. It offers a distinctive integrated liberal arts curriculum incorporating opportunities for experiential education in both domestic and international settings.
