Adjunct Instructor- Psychology

The Psychology Department at Kalamazoo College is seeking instructors to teach between 1 and 3 courses during the academic year, depending on availability. Area of specialization is open. Candidates should be interested in teaching an introductory level psychology course or a course in their psychology specialization. The teaching load is 1 course per quarter. We have syllabi and teaching materials candidates may adapt for General Introductory Psychology and Social Psychology courses.

Teaching Load & Appointment Length
Kalamazoo College operates on a three-quarter academic calendar, and we are looking for instructor(s) to teach one in-person course each term. Applicants can apply to teach 1 to 3 courses, depending on their availability and interest. While the initial appointment covers Fall 2025, Winter 2026, and Spring 2026, there is potential to extend the appointment for up to two additional academic years, based on performance and program needs. Fall term begins September 15, 2025.

Requirements
• Masters, PhD, or evidence of finishing PhD within one-year in Psychology or related field.
